I decided to use these pictures because I never posted them. A photoshoot at jubilee farms of some cools they sold, Matthea, a cute goat, and the view from the deck. I Loved these photos because they felt very autumn and autumn is my favorite season! I really enjoy the way these photos turned out with the focus and all.

Bella was kind enough to let me take some photos of her so I played around with some angles and I stood on a table for these and had her look up.

With this one I didn’t just wanna do a eye portrait so we got some scarves out and put them around her face and got this cool shot of her eyes/upper face.

I really like this one because we have her full face and she’s looking to the side and with the scarf and lighting I think I did a decent job.

I thought all of these were cool shots. I couldn’t get as close to the birds as i wanted to. I used a telephoto lens.

Aperture is used in a lot of portraits. This feature is an adjustable lens feature that allows light to pass through your camera.

This photo is my favorite, I enjoy how sparkly the bubbles look and the pink ish purple hue from the picture. these aren’t my favorite pictures but I still like them. My friend Elliot helped me come with the idea for bubbles and how they have a cool texture.

  This photo was my favorite because I liked how you could see the texture of the cup and it looks shiny and pretty. I tried getting some pictures from the top of the cup but they did not necessarily turn out the way I wanted them to.

Maybe you have hard the song “Devil Town” off TikTok, or maybe the song “Boys will be bugs”, Well the very brilliant person that wrote and sung those songs, is called Cavetown. You may think Cavetown is a band, but it is just Robin Daniel Skinner also known as Robbie. Robbie (He/they) is a 23-year-old English singer, songwriter, and youtuber. In the mid-2010s, Robbie made YouTube videos where he would cover songs on his ukulele and sing some of his own writing.  In October 2013 he uploaded his first video, a song of his own called “Haunted Lullaby”. A month before they came out with his first album, “Everything Is Made of Clouds”. Robbie has lots of old albums and Eps, but I am going to skip to his 7 main albums.

In 2015, Robbie came out with his self-titled album “Cavetown”, I love this album very much and one of my favorite songs from this album is “We’re Alive” its not the happiest song but this album isn’t the happiest either. This song is about having a hard time in your life and struggling.

Next up, is the amazing album is “16/04/16” which was released in 2016. I am deeply in love with this album, and I love so many songs on this album, but my all-time favorite is the wonderful song this album is named after “16/04/16 (Jacks Song)” I am not sure if anyone knows any deep meaning behind this song, but in my eyes (and ears) is about looking at the past and missing it and missing your childhood especially. Like you miss someone and enjoy looking back on your old memories.

The next album is so so special to me, it is called “Lemon Boy”. And boy I cannot even begin to talk about how good this album is. This is probably my favorite album, and there are so many songs off this album, but I will only talk abut two. The first song I want to talk about is “Fool” this song is so good and catchy, in 2021 I saw Cavetown live at the Neptune Theatre and “Fool” was the song they opened with. It was truly amazing but let’s talk about the song. “Fool”, this song is about loving someone but feeling like a “Fool” thinking they love you back. Feeling like you would sacrifice everything for this person to be happy, but they don’t feel the same and it feels like you’re chasing after nothing great. The second song I wanted to talk about is “Green” I don’t think I can explain in words about how much love I have for this song. This song was so great live I cried. This song is about Robbie’s ex-partner, and in the past when they were dating, he didn’t treat her the best. Then after they broke up, later his ex found a new persona and as much as it hurts to see them with another lover. He so glad they are good together and he’s glad they are happy.

I would love to talk about every single album, I am going to skip a few albums, and talk about only one more that I have so much love and passion for. “Animal Kingdom”. One of my very favorite songs off this album is a cover of the song “self control” by Frank Ocean. Robbie sung it beautifully and his vocals sound amazing in it! The last song I will talk about is called “Advice” Its about being tired of people thinking they know more about your life than you and you dislike how people keep trying to give you advice when you know what to do and you just want to handle your own life yourself.

You may have hard the song “Heather” that went viral in 2020, or you may have heard “I wish you were sober” that went viral on TikTok this year. Well, those wonderful songs full of talent and dedication are made and sung by the great artist Conan Gray! Conan Gray is a 23-year-old queer Asian-American singer, born in Lemon Grove, California and raised in Georgetown, Texas. He makes Indie, pop, and acoustic music! He went to UCLA then dropped out to pursue his music career.

In 2018, he came out with an EP called “Sunset Season” That had four great songs, “Idle Town”, “Generation Why”, “Crush culture”, “Greek god”, and “Lookalike”. I love all these songs, but I would have to say “Crush culture” is my favorite. It is about how the whole stereotype and culture around getting a crush is odd, you shouldn’t be super scared, and people shouldn’t make fun of you for loving who you want. The whole theme of being heart broken, anxious, and making people jealous. Its nerve-wracking and how he would rather be alone that be chasing after someone who doesn’t want him back.

Later, in 2020 Conan gray came out with “Kid Krow” that did super well. This album is so special to me, and I’ll always love it. I have so many favorites off this album, but I would have to say one of my favorites are “The cut that always bleeds” this so is so incredible amazing. The notes he hits are incredible and his voice just sounds absolutely astounding. This song is about loving someone who doesn’t love you back, but you would do anything to get them to feel the same way about you. This song is so incredible and will always be special to me. Another great song from this memorable album is “The Story” this song is so highly recommended! “The Story” is about being LGBTQIA+ and not being accepted and just about love in general but mostly about, accepting yourself, family accepting you, and what happens when you treat someone the wrong way after the admit this stuff to you. This song also mentions how the world is hard to live in when you are born differently than society’s normal.

And last album, but not least is “Superache” and honestly, I don’t even know how I can explain how good this album is in words. The album “Superache” came out June 2022 and the theme around this album is roses, black, red, and a little depressing, though I think you could assume that from the album being called “Superache”. I love so many songs on this incredible album, but I will name my three favorites, my first is the amazing song, “Jigsaw” this song is so powerful and emotional it’s wonderful. Its about changing everything about yourself to get someone to love you but it just doesn’t work yet you still try then later realize that you aren’t the problem, the person you are trying to please is. The notes Conan Gray hits are incredible, and I am so glad he came out with such a good song.

The next song I love is “People watching”. Believe it or not with all the love songs and breakup songs Conan has sung and written, he has never dated anyone. And that is what this song is about, looking at people that are so happy, perfect, and in love and feeling like you will never have that. You don’t know if you are the problem or people just don’t find interest in you, and push people away when they try to get closer to you and you just end up alone.

                And the last song will always have a special place in my heart, it is called “Summer Child” This song is one of my top favorite songs of all time. This song is not a love song, breakup song, or anything like that but its about sucking up your feelings to please your surroundings, its about struggling but you would rather put someone else who is struggling less  in front of you so no one worries about yourself. “Oh summer child, you don’t have to act like all you feel is mild” a lyric for example. And that it is hard to fake your emotions. Once you listen to this song you will get the message.
